Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains what data Miku Bot ("the Bot") collects and how it is used.
1. Data we collect
- Discord identifiers: user IDs, usernames, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs, used to run commands and per-server settings.
- Command input: the content of commands you send to the Bot, used only to respond to them.
- Authorization data: if you authorize with the identify scope, we receive your Discord username and ID. We do not receive your email or password.
- Technical logs: basic error and usage logs to keep the Bot working.
2. Data we do not collect
We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not read private messages. We process message content only when it is needed to run a command you invoked.
3. How we use data
To provide and improve Bot features, prevent abuse, and fix errors.
4. Storage and retention
Data is stored on secured servers and kept only as long as needed. Server settings are deleted within 30 days after the Bot is removed from a server.
5. Sharing
We do not share data with third parties, except where required by law or to protect against abuse.
6. Your choices
You can remove the Bot at any time and revoke authorization in Discord under User Settings, then Authorized Apps. To request access to or deletion of your data, email [email protected].
7. Children
The Bot is not intended for anyone below the minimum age set by Discord.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
